Mums-YUM

Mom had this bright idea to have a photo shoot today.

The weather is perfect an the sun is shining.

Mums sounded like a great prop, add some color...

or a little flavor...

what?! No, No don't eat that. Well, what about the orange one then?

Oh, you want a bite Mommy...

Of course I will share, I love to share (as long as I get it RIGHT back!)

Did I mention I have a top tooth coming in and I now bathe in the big boy tub, without my little boy tub! I love it-it is so fun to swim around on my belly and my back, don't worry I am sure some nudey pics are to come:)

Talented

There are a couple of tricks we finally caught on film and though we might share them with all of you. First is sucking on my toes....while sitting up and watching Baby Einstein-ha, try and do that! Quite a balancing act!

I can also-sort of-stand up...sometimes.

I think I might have even suprised myself with this trick.

Growing Up Too Fast

So this week I learned how to do sooo many new things. Unfortunately, I don't have a pic of all of them so we will start with the no pic milestones and then move on tho the fun ones!

Well, I threw my first official TEMPER TANTRUM on Monday! Arched my back , and lifted my arms straight into the air so Mommy would have to put me down. I cried, screamed and stomped my heels on the ground. It was quite a show, really too bad there isn't any footage-thanks Mom, I could have been an actor .

I have also learned how to give a Hi-5, put my toys back into their basket and the balls back into the ball popper thing, share with Mommy, beg with the dogs (They get some good stuff! Don't let em' fool you), pass the ball and play guitar. I also learned that I am the tallest and largest kid in both Gymboree classes, Mommy says I look a little awkward towering over the other kids, and especially whan I chase them around open mouthed trying to give kisses-what?! I am a lover!

Ok so now onto the fun stuff....

I can open the cabinet doors-although when I let go they close, so as of now I am not able to get anything out of them.....but I will keep trying-hee, hee.

I got my own baby doll too. I love it! He makes noise, and I laugh every time he cries. Mommy says I get that from her-inappropriate laughter.

And I love my blocks! Cheap Mommy finally broke down and bought me some blocks. The best part is knocking over the towers she makes!

Poor, Poor Gramma

On Wednesday Mommy, Daddy and I went to visit Grampa Bill and Gramma Bons. Poor gramma Bons, she had knee surgery that morning and was all propped up in her favorite chair. I did get to play in her lap for a while and Mommy did take a couple of pics-but we decided to spare Gramma Bons as she was not at her best. So no pics of Gramma Bons to be posted on the web at this time;)

I did get to spend some time with Daddy-which is very rare these days. He is so busy with the new store, which is doing great!

We got to play with my new cell phone.

I showed him the COOL way to pull up the antenna-chicks LOVE it when I use my teeth!

We played with my fake food for a while. Huge shock that I like to play with fake food!

Riley was eying my ice cream cone...I don't think so Riley-get your own!

But sadly the game had to end when it turned peverted, thanks Dad and Grampa :(

Water Baby

This weekend Mommy, Auntie and I went to Grand Haven to visit Grammy and Papa.

I even got to hold on to Simon's leash. I did a great job making sure he didn't run off anywhere.

Auntie Steffy gave me my very first taste of Superman Ice Cream!

I told you before, Aunties are the best!

Mommy cringed the WHOLE time, but she was outnumbered 5-1.

This is Grammy and Papa's friends sail boat. It looks like a great big pirate ship! I love it!

On Sunday, we went to the marina and I got to go swimming. I started in my floatie device, but I really couldn't dunk my face. So Mommy took me out and let me drink it up!

I realize this looks like a drowning baby pic-but I assure you I was merely dunking my face to get a drink.

See, I pop right back up! No problem.

A Day at the Park

Right next to my Grammy and Papa's house there is a little park with a swing that is just my size.

Then Mommy took me onto he big kid swing. It was a lot of fun. I love to snuggle with Mommy.

And Auntie Steffy took me swinging. She went so high! I didn't want to open my eyes!

I think Simon liked the slide about as much as I did.

Hangin' With Mommy

Mommy and I decided to take a trip to G.R. We are having a great time hanging with Auntie Steffy and Nana. Grammy and Papa are on a sailing trip this weekend to Grand Haven, but we plan on seeing them on Sunday.

Mommy is so excited because my hair is getting a little curl in it, can you see it?

I just love giving kisses! I can't stop.

I am kissing everyone, the little girl at the jewelry party, Uncle Ben's feet, Auntie Steffys dog Simon....I am a big lover!

Gotta' Love the Watters

This past weekend Mommy and I went up north to Higgins Lake with our neighbors Irish and Kenny. We had THE BEST time ever! Their family has a house on 60 acres, and they have every toy imaginable! We went on a golf cart ride around the property-mom was a little scared. She is a big baby when it comes to fast things you ride on that don't have any sides (if that makes any sense).

I was a big snuggle baby all weekend, I Love You Auntie Irish. Thanks for the great ride, and scaring Mommy!

On Saturday we went to the lake. Higgins Lake is the best lake in the whole wide world. The water was so clear we could see to the bottom. It is really shallow for a few hundred feet, only up to Mommy's thighs.

As you can see, I hate to swim....NOT-I love the water!

There were these little tiny fish in the water, I tried my hardest to catch them but they were way too fast. Maybe next year whin I am a BIG BOY.

I had to take a break from swimming for a while, Mommy's arms got tired. So I played on my parachute in the shade. It was a perfect day for the beach!

I was sooo tired from swimming and playing that I fell asleep while snuggling with Mommy. Auntie Irish helped cover me up.

But the day was not even close to being over. After my nap Uncle Kenny took me and the ladies out on his boat a.k.a chick magnet. He even let me drive, although it was a little hard to turn:).

Last but not least, I got to take a little trip-in a circle on the jet ski. Mom was a little freaked, but we all survived. I was more interested in chewing on the key anyway.

But seriously folks, we had the best time! Unfortunately Daddy couldn't make it-but definately next year.

County Fair

Every year the Shiawassee County Fair comes to town near the store. Mommy and Daddy thought it would be a great place to take me for my 9 month birthday...boy were they WRONG!

I pretty much cried the minute we walked in. Those rides are very big, loud and scary-not to mention all the toothless carnies running around-and don't even get me started on the hippo sized cows!

They decided to first torture me with the gynormous, smelly pigs!

Right after Mom snapped the pic..I cried.

Then they moved on to the smelly sheep....

and the horse butts. For whatever reason they had all the horses facing the wrong way, so all we really got to see was some HUGE BOO-TAY.

Not freakin funny guys! They really had way more fun than I did!

Now this tops the cake, Dad I think I am going to cry now.

I went to the fair and all I got was this CRAPPY picture!? I think the face says it all.

I got all excited because Daddy was going to take me on the merry-go-round, but the carney said "it ony hath one peed" (it only has one speed, in english:) which was way too fast and just watching it made Mommy sick...so... I snuggled with Daddy...

Drank my $8.00 bottle of water, then went home.
