Baby Proofing

Well, mom and I had to go out today and get all kinds of stuff that should keep me out of her things! "Should" being the operative word, it all looks pretty easy foil.
This all began because I was casually looking over the rail of my bed yesterday when mom had to walk in...and panic. She moved the mattress down, got gates, outlet plugs, cabinet hooks-this place will have me on lockdown! I only pulled myself to my knees mom, is this really necessary?!
Well anyway, here are a few pics of my crawling progress.
I am great at going backwards...
Until I manage to back myself in to a corner.
I think the tongue will help me out of this situation.

Nope, still stuck. Hopefully the rocking back and forth will help....

We had to call for back up on this one..mommy moved me to the middle. (I think I will stick to modeling for now:)

Oops, wrong end...not a very flattering pattern if I do say so....

Ahhh, much better. Very G.Q. Daddy taught me this one.

Can't get enough of that boo-tay..

I was really tired o.k.a.y! Mom keeps catching me on an off moment!

Visitors

I had quite a few lovely ladies (and Grampa Bill, which I guess depending on who you ask, might fit in the lovely lady category...just kiddin;)) vistit me this weekend. On Saturday we met up with Gramma Bons, and her mom Doris and Grampa Bill at the store. Grampa tried taking off with the Little Debbie stand while Gramma Bons was entertaining me, but I was able to cut him off at the door. We will have to keep a better eye on him, sneaky.

Gramma Bons knows some great games. She had me laughing for hours.

She really likes those blocks, I think we will have to get her her own for next time.

After they went home, mom let me hoover the carpet behind the counter.

But I eventually got full so it was back to the hippo.

Then on Sunday Nana J came out for a visit. She fed me dinner and my first cheerios, and no big suprise but I love them!

Music at Gymboree

Did I ever tell you how much I LOVE Gymboree class? As soon as we get to the parking lot I go nuts! My motorcycles and feet start flying. Mommy just can't get me inside fast enough.
On Fridays we have music class, which is awesome! I get to bang on a big drum, play instruments and scream...I mean sing louder than all the other kids.

These bells are so much fun, they make this great, loud, annoying sound! They are also great to whack your neighbor! The moms think I am soooo funny,

M.I.L.F's-Mommies I would Like to Feed me! Ha Ha, had you for a minute there.

Did I mention, I am by far the largest kid in class...and the youngest by about 3 months. Just thought I would throw that in.

My Hero

At this point in my young life, my hero is my dog Ry Ry. Not only can he walk on all fours, which I am trying my hardest to do and I really think any day now, but he can chase the cat and he has this great big bucket of toys... I can't wait to put every one of them in my mouth!
He really likes this game c.h.u.c.k.i.t, shhhhh we can't say it because he will stare it the c.h.u.c.k.i.t FOREVER!
I am pretty good at playing...

this big orange stick is...you know who... Mommy just puts the ball in the end and with a little help I can throw the ball for Ry Ry and he runs after it.

It is so exciting, I love this game too!

Then Ry Ry brings the ball back and we do it all over again...but sometimes...

I like to gross mom out and play with the wrong end, a.k.a the yucky end don't touch!

She doesn't like when I eat the grass either. But mom I am just SMELLING it..see.

Ok, Ok you got me. I ate it.

Now if I could just see past this belly of mine...I know I dropped something good down there.

Moral of the story, I really like my big brother. Someday I hope to be just like him..well sort of.

You eat grass too, right. SWEET!

Market Update

Well, I think we may have an actual opening date 7/31/06!
Take a look at the almost complete store.

Tame the Mane

Would you like to see what my hair looks like when Mommy does not give it the proper amount of drying time....

AAAHHHH...Mom thought it was "sooo cute" she was going to make me wear it like this all day!

So I talked her in to letting me wear a hat..

but then I changed my mind about the hat..boo hoo.

I would much rather wear my birthday suite...if my cat wasn't such a perv. "Izzy quit lookin'!"

OK, OK enough of the nudey pics. I have a new skill, not only can I take the blocks out of the hood of this fabulous car (which I learned a few weeks ago)...

I can (sometimes) put them back in the right hole. Mommy squeals every time I do it..very exciting for her I guess (doesn't take much).

Second Party

Well, we had another B-Day party to attend. This makes 2 and they were both for girls..I am the man...uh..little man.

I was passed from one lovely lady to another....

and another....
and another...
are we almost done yet!!! Not quite.

Well ok, if you are going to tickle me.

Don't tell my mom but they snuck me some frosting...yum yum!

8 Months Old

Well I am now the ripe ol' age of 8 months.
I roll everywhere, yell for Mom all the time, obsess over Riley, try to feed myself with a spoon (getting pretty good at it too) I am trying to crawl, I really, really want to but one of my chunky legs keeps getting in the way, I have 2 teeth, I say ba, ra ra, and of course mum, and I doscovered my toes fit in my mouth perfectly!
Still a Woofy lover, rubbing his ear on my nose means I am very sleepy.
I am not passing the "Woofy Test" right now, that is how Mommy can tell if I am tired..very tricky.

Here I am attempting to crawl....

SPLAT! Not quite there yet.

No Problem, I feel like tearing apart my play mat anyway.

Who needs to crawl when you can take these off an hit the cat with them!

Or eat em', that's cool too.

Gggrrrr, Mom pay attention to me! I need you to carry me around all day.

Busy Weekend

Mommy and Daddy kept me very busy this weekend. We went out boating and playing in the lake,
We played on the beach for a while..

Then Daddy took me swimming, Mommy was too chicken.

Our friend Dax (who owns the house and boat we invade every so often) and his neice Ava went swimming too.

Then Daddy and I dried off and watched all the speeding boats.

I had my first co-ed birthday party (which mom forgot to take pictures so unfortunately we don't have any of that, bad mom!)

and my Great Aunt Earlene, Great Uncle Paul, Nana J and Gramma all came to visit.

We were all smiles...off camera that is.

But not Nana J, she was all smiles on and off camera.

My car kept Gramma and I busy for a long time. Now we know what to get her for Christmas:) (she liked it just as much as I do!)

Then all pooped out, literally, I went night night.
